To Change the Material Preview Shape and Render Quality

 
 
 
  1. Click Visualize tab Materials panel Dialog box launcher.
  2. In the Materials Editor, click the Options drop-down menu adjacent to the preview swatch.
  3. Select a different swatch shape from the Scene submenu, lighting option from the Environment submenu, or render quality for the material from the Render Settings submenu.
