To Work With Custom Settings

Migrate Settings

On first launch after installation, the Migrate Custom Settings dialog box will be displayed to provide an opportunity to migrate custom settings and files from previous releases.

You can also migrate your settings later by going to Migrate Custom Settings under your Autodesk product listed in Windows Start.

Reset Settings

If you are not satisfied with the results of migrating custom settings and files to your new installation, you can use Reset Settings from Windows Start to return settings to their original default values.

Recover Settings

Custom settings can be exported and later re-imported if you have to repair the installation of your program.
