To Exclude Specific Components from a Section View

 
 
 

Mechanical engineering drafting practices demand that cylindrical components such as fasteners and shafts must not be sectioned. You can select such components and exclude them from section views.

NOTE:Inventor content library components are automatically excluded from section views.
  1. Click Layout tab Modify View panel Edit Component.
  2. Click the components to exclude from the section view and press Enter.
  3. Enter N (for the None option).
